Question: Application for Vietnam visa with PNG passport

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have bought my return airline ticket to Ho Chi Minh City for 16 Mar 2014 to play golf with some friends. I have a Papua New Guinea passport as attached. Can I apply for a visa through your consulate or the Vietnam Embassy ? Presently I am in Lae, P.N.G. and will be in Sydney on 4 April. I will fly from Sydmey to Singapore, then to Vietnam.

Hi, I am a Singaporean with a Singapore passport. I will be travelling to Vietnam on 27th Feb (Thurs) and returning on 1st Mar (Sat). My passport is expiring on 19th Aug 2014, will there be any issue? Need to know urgently.

Question: Apply for a Vietnam Visa, Bahrain

Dear Sir/Madame,

I am a Bahraini citizen living in Bahrain, and I will be going to Vietnam via Cambodia BY LAND. I am going as part of a tour group and I require a Vietnamese visa BEFORE entering Vietnam.

I want to apply directly to the consulate, but there is no Vietnamese Embassy in Bahrain. The closest embassy is in UAE. Is it possible to apply for a Vietnamese visa to the UAE by POST instead of getting it in person?

Question: Passport expiration issue

To whom it may concern,
I came across your firms page after spending some time google researching for vietnam immigration professionals.  Here is my scenario, I have a flight booked this Friday morning Jan 3rd from Jakarta to Ho Chi Minh.  My passport expiration is Jun 30 2014, literallly a few days over the 6 month international requirement.   I already have my acceptance visa issued from Vietnam immigration.  I’ve been teaching English since early September in Ho Chi Minh for what it’s worth but haven’t secured a work permit yet.  So I’m foresseing this being an issue with immigration letting me fly out and I’m hoping to get a letter from Vietnam immigration guarating my acceptance upon arrival in which case that should be a solution for leaving from what I’ve learned.  Could your firm be of assistance on this matter? And if not do you recommend contacting anybody else or should I just visit the Vietnam consulate here in Jakarta on this matter?  Look forward to your response.

Hi

I have a question regarding visa on arrival. I understand there is Visa-on-arrival service available at Tan Son Nhat airport (Ho Chi Minh City), where we are going to arrive to Vietnam. If we apply a 1-month visa for multiple entries, can we the second time enter Vietnam (coming from Phnom Penh by bus to Ho Chi Minh City) also through Moc Bai/Bavet border crossing? What would be the cost of getting multiple entry 1 month visa for 2 adults + 2 children?

Question: Vietnam Visa on arrival for German nationals

Dear Sir or Madam,
We are travelling to Vietnam in March/April 2014. We fly in at HCMC airport and would like to get a visa on arrival.
We are German nationals, flying with Air France or Emirates. Could you please confirm that the visa on arrival is a safe, secured and guaranteed option. What is the current stamp fee for 1 month, multiple entries? Still 65 USD?
Further, is it possible to enter Vietnam the second time overland, e.g. by bus coming from Cambodia? Or is it required to enter Vietnam always, i.e. not only at the first arrival, but also at every further arrival within the valid time period of the visa, at one of the 3 international airports?

Dear Sirs,

I am going to go travelling accross South East Asia and I will be entering Vietnam from Cambodia via bus/coach/train. Do I still require an online visa if I am not travelling by air?

Or do I pay the stamping fee on my arrival to the border?

Question: Apply Vietnam tourist visa in BangKok, Thailand

Dear Vietnam Visa,

My wife and I wish to apply for a tourist visa for Vietnam. We are currently in Bangkok on holiday and hope to travel on to Vietnam from Laos.
I am a French citizen and my wife is a British citizen.

Can we apply for our visas in person at the embassy, pay the fee and receive our visas the same day?
We would like to apply in the next couple of days.
