Question: Application for Visa

Dear Sir/Madam,

In October, 2015, myself and a friend have booked a 14 day holiday to Vietnam through a travel company. I have been told that to follow the “Application for Visa” procedure ‘on line’ is risky as there have been incidents of “Visa Scams” and illegal use of applicants’ personal details when applied for ‘on-line. In the circumstances, could you advise me if there is an alternative means of making the application and if so what procedure we need to follow and the time frame for making the application prior to travel

Hi, do I need a visa to fly from city to city in Vietnam as part off a international flight from Sydney to London? My flight was booked through Expedia with Vietnam Airlines. I will not be leaving the airports of Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi as it is more of a transit stop.

Please let me know my options and if I need a visa to fly through your country.

I am from Perú and I´m going to Hanoi on August 23th, with my cousin, and we would like to take your services to get the visa for Vietnam.

I´m taking a flight from Bangkok, but I´m going to exit the country aproximately 7 days later, by land, crossing the border in Cambodia.

My question is: Is that a problem to get the visa? Do I need to exit the same way I entered the country? Do I have to know the exact day of leaving on advance?

Question: Apply Vietnam visa from Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City

Our daughter will arrive in Ho Chi Minh  on 25 July at 7.00 am and has connecting flights to Sydney at 20.35. Would she be able to exit airport  due to such long transit time?

My husband and I will arrive in Ho Chi Minh on 29.August, 7.00 am and connecting flight to Sydney at 20.35. Also I would like to ask if we can purchase visa at the arrival in Ho Chi Minh. My husband and I were in Vietnam last year for holiday and organised visa beforehand online. When we arrived in Ho Chi Minh we were still required to queue because we needed entry stamp. I noticed that lots of other people were purchasing visa on arrival. If we are able to purchase visa on arrival would that cause us any problem on boarding the plane in Sydney?
