Question: Enquiry on Visa on arrival
Dear Sir / madam,
I would like to apply a 3-month visa in Vietnam, after application, can I show the Vietnam Visa Approval Letter with my phone since it will be sent via email?
Also, my transit time in Tan Son Nhat international airport is from 3.30pm to 7pm (3.5 hours), is that enough time to get my visa on arrival? Where’s the office to get the visa?
Thank you.
Regards,
Ms Jia Huey
Answer
Dear Ms. Jia Huey,
Thank you for contacting us.
Kindly confirm us which type of 3-month visa you wish to apply for this time: single-entry or multiple-entries for further processing.
Regarding the approval letter, please note that you need to print out and hand it to the Immigration Officer at the Immigration Checkpoint at Vietnam international airports as a part of the visa procedures to get your official Vietnam visa stamp in your passport.
Depends on the number of passengers arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport on your arrival date, the waiting and queuing time's length for the immigration process will vary. Therefore, we would not guarantee whether 3.5 hours would be enough for you. Kindly provide us your flights' details for further advice.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
