Answer
Dear Phil Moyse,Thank you for your prompt reply.
We would like to confirm that United Kingdom passport holders are able to apply for visas on arrival. With you provided itinerary, we would like to list out a few options as follows:
1. From 1 Jul 2015 to 30 Jun 2016, nationals of UK are exempt for a Vietnam visa within 15 days single entry (each entry must be at least 30 days apart from each other). Since your arrival date is after this period, we recommend you to wait at most until 30 Jun to see whether the Decree's effectiveness would be lengthen. If yes, you only need to apply for a 1 month-single entry visa for the first entry and then use your exemption right for the second time.
Total fee for 1 person: USD 16.15 (processing fee) + USD 25.00 (stamping fee) = USD 36.15
2. After 30 Jun 2016, if this Decree is terminated, you will need to apply for a 1 month-multiple entry visa. After getting the official visa stamp at Tan Son Nhat airport at the first time you fly into Vietnam, you can use this visa to enter and leave Vietnam multiple times by any methods within the granted period.
Total fee for 1 person: USD 20.40 (processing fee) + USD 50.00 (stamping fee) = USD 70.40
Kindly consider and let us know your decision.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
