Question: How to apply for a visa for entering Vietnam this summer?

I would like some information on how to apply for a visa for entering Vietnam this summer. I live in Edinburgh and will not be able to travel to the Embassy before I travel.
Is it possible to apply by post? Is the collection of visa on arrival reliable?
