Question: Entry into Vietnam from China

I want to ask about when I want entry into Vietnam from China with the Vietnam Visa on Arrival. Is it possible to fly directly from China or I must go two the third country and fly to Vietnam? Merci beaucoup.

We would like to confirm that in the past, China passport holders flying to Vietnam from China mainland, Hong Kong and Macau might be asked to have a visa stamped on their passports prior to their departure and they might not be allowed to board their flight to Vietnam using visa on arrival.
toutefois, we have been recently informed by our Chinese customers that this policy has now changed and with the letter of approval from the Vietnamese Inbound, China border authorities allow Chinese citizens to fly to Vietnam's three international airports (y compris Hanoi, Hô-Chi-Minh-Ville et Da Nang).
